36,000 Miles

Bushby has walked approximately 36,000 miles (58,000km), breaking the record for the longest unbroken foot journey and far exceeding the 25,000-mile circumference of the world. When he gets home he will be the first person to have walked continuously across the world, visiting 29 countries.

Now that’s a way to spend a life. 28 years, from 1998 to 2026, from Chile to the North of England.

The guy crossed the Bering Strait, the Atacama Desert and the Darién Gap.
